Summer, Growth and a New Look

From The Desk Of New

Rated PGDear Friends,

What a summer it has been! We hope that you took some time to enjoy the great outdoors, hit the beach and read up on your favorite Jewrotica stories.

Here at Jewrotica, we have continued to post sizzling, thoughtful and original content on a daily basis, and we took a little trip over to Wimberley last month, where we spent an (exceptionally hot) weekend bringing Jewrotica to Camp Young Judaea – Texas!

You can find us next week up in Woodstock, New York, where Tamar Fox, our Double Mitzvah columnist, will be offering adult, teen and tween-friendly programming at the Mishpucha Summer Retreat.

In other Jewrotica news, we continue to develop our organizational partnerships with support from MASA Israel, Hebrew Union College, A Wider Bridge and local films. We’ll be looking to grow the Jewrotica team this fall with social media gurus (any takers?), new columnists (particularly for the weekly Double Mitzvah column) and potentially a new “face of Jewrotica” as I bring on a partner to grow and oversee our workshops offerings.

Lastly, in honor of our upcoming one-year anniversary, Jewrotica will soon be undergoing an exciting facelift! We’ll be migrating the website over to an interactive magazine format with featured content and greater navigation flexibility.

If you’d like to get involved, please be in touch with me at and managing editor Emma Morris at

Until then, we wish everyone a Shana Tova – a happy, healthy, sweet, saucy and fulfilling new year!

Light and Love,
