Thanksgiving

Rated PGI give thanks that I found you,
That I found the courage to approach you.
I give thanks that you found me
Attractive and willing to play.
I give thanks for your laugh
And the sparkle in your eyes.
I give thanks for your body
and mind that stretches all boundaries.
I give thanks for the time
We have given to each other.
I give thanks that you muse me
Amuse me, amaze me, awaken me.
I give thanks when I turn
And find you beside me, wanting me.
I give thanks that you are an explorer
Willing to explore every part of me.
I give thanks that you are such an adventurer
Willing to venture forth into the unknown together.
I give thanks for your wings
That allow me to soar you so high.
I give thanks for you being you,
That allows me to be me with you.

I am a late-comer to poetry especially Jewish-laced love poetry. In the last two years I have written about 50 such poems that I am now trying to publish under the title - The Metaphysics of Love. They are about love - love for women as a metaphor for the Divine love - sometimes employing very erotic images inspired by the Song of Songs and Kabbalistic literature.
