Tashlikh

A long-standing Jewish practice of casting away sins, often by symbolically throwing bread into a stream while reciting the corresponding prayer. Tashlikh is usually performed on the second day of the Jewish new year, but can be done at any point prior to the day of atonement (a ~10-day period).
